The Department
Library Services is at the heart of the student and academic experience at the University of West London, facilitating creation of knowledge and ideas and developing confident, critically information-literate professionals. We place particular value on supporting our institutional mission of extending higher education to those traditionally excluded from it, and in facilitating research and scholarship in ways that connect with equity and widening participation.
The Role
The post holder provides technical support for library systems and digital content. They have a deep understanding and knowledge of the systems within the role’s remit and provide specialist expertise to colleagues using those systems. They ensure seamless access to and effective discoverability of digital content, meeting the needs of the University's community for teaching, learning and research.
The Person
The successful candidate will have excellent IT and problem-solving skills. They will be an effective communicator and have experience in providing customer centred technical support.
