We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Administrator to lead on all matters related to the awarding and monitoring of Trinity funded Postgraduate Studentships and Bursaries. Working as part of the Tutorial team, this is an expanding role which would suit candidates who would welcome the opportunity to develop processes and collaborate with key colleagues to shape the future of studentships and bursaries within the College. Key responsibilities will include managing the wide range of administrative processes related to the selection of candidates for College postgraduate studentships and bursaries, providing advice to prospective postgraduate students in respect of funding opportunities, maintaining graduate funding webpages and other online systems, and preparing annual reports that combine quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
Applicants must have experience of working with funding and/or managing budgets, as the role holder will be responsible for the administration of awards and financial reporting. Applicants should be enthusiastic about acquiring an in-depth knowledge of Trinity’s portfolio of studentships and bursaries. The role will involve managing a range of databases and being able to analyse data; a high level of IT proficiency is therefore required. Applicants will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and will be able to establish and maintain productive relationships with essential colleagues within the College and wider University. Applicants should enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders – Fellows of the College, potential applicants, administrators – and have excellent communication skills. Due to the changing nature of the role, applicants must be willing to take on new challenges and devise appropriate systems and solutions to assist with the effective administration of the College’s portfolio of studentships and bursaries.
This is a part-time position with an expectation of 21.75 hours per week. There is flexibility to agree a working pattern that would allow the role holder to work reduced/extended hours at different times to fit in around peak periods in the year (Jan-Feb).
Salary is £20,301.60 pa for 21.75 hours (FTE £33,836 pa) plus other benefits.
