Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in consulting, career development and business relationship management? Saïd Business School is seeking a Head of Consulting Careers to work closely with senior leadership, employers and students to drive business development and career success in the consulting and professional services sector.
Reporting to the Director of Career Development, you will play a pivotal role in developing employer relationships, designing career programmes, coaching students and leading a dedicated team of career professionals. Your work will help ensure that Saïd Business School remains a top choice for consulting firms seeking world-class talent.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract top consulting and professional services firms to recruit from our talent pool.
- Manage a team of Career Coaches and Sector Managers.
- Deliver high-quality career skills training through workshops, coaching sessions, webinars and online content.
- Provide one-to-one coaching and group sessions to prepare students for consulting career opportunities.
- Research and share industry trends, employer insights and recruitment best practices.
You will have substantial experience in career guidance, coaching and training within a business school or corporate environment. Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and adaptability, are essential for supporting individuals through career transitions. Additionally, a deep understanding of the consulting and professional services sector, including recruitment processes and career pathways, is crucial.
