We are currently seeking two post-doctoral research associates to work collaboratively on a project relating to transformer end-of-life prediction based on different approaches including modelling, and data analysis techniques. Due to the different research skills and knowledge required, there are two separate adverts for these different roles. This project is funded by NGET under the Network Innovation Allowance (NIA) funding mechanism and is called “DATAMINER”.
The project is led by Prof. Zhongdong Wang (Principal Investigator) with support from Prof. Qiang Liu, Prof. Paul Jarman and Dr. Shanika Matharage (Co-Investigators). This advert is for the position focused on the Modelling and simulation of ageing of transformer insulation and the partitioning of chemical markers.
