This new full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 12th June 2026.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
The primary focus of this post is to contribute to the delivery of an expert information, advice and guidance service covering education policy and quality and standards assurance and enhancement matters. This service is provided to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including Education Senior Leaders, Faculties and Departments, other Professional Services, Academic Partners, Sector Organisations and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies. In fulfilling their duties, the post-holder will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of EPQS and LXI and across the University to develop and deliver a streamlined, reliable, forward thinking and outstanding-quality professional service.
About you
EPQS is looking for someone who is skilled and experienced in providing information, advice and guidance to others and has a good understanding of the importance of internal governance, regulations, policies and processes for assuring quality and standards in Higher Education. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience of working in a similar capacity in Higher Education, for other educational providers or in public services. A demonstrable aptitude for problem solving and a commitment to delivering an excellent professional service are also looked for. Very good written and verbal communication skills and Information and Communication Technology skills are essential. Service specific training and development can be provided.
