Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

The International Office provides an incredibly varied and passionate working environment, where no two days are the same. We are looking for a talented and proactive person who can ensure that local practices maintain and improve the International Office’s strong record of compliance.
Main duties and responsibilities
The role of the International Admissions Compliance Officer is to firstly to ensure that all relevant materials/procedures have the latest sponsorship guidance at their heart and secondly that the key measure of recruitment compliance, visa refusal rate, is monitored, analysed and conveyed to key parties in a responsive format. At a day-to-day level, the Compliance Officer will also be able to act as the first line of referral for complex immigration cases and fee assessments.
Skill and experience required
You will be expected to have an excellent understanding of the international compliance policies particularly regarding student visas, and procedures and University processes and be able to transfer this expertise to support colleagues. You will also need the ability to work effectively as a team member and form and maintain effective and productive professional relationships. You will also require excellent written and oral communications skills and a proactive solution-focused approach to work. You will be expected to have experience of having to work with an excellent level of attention to detail and to be able to complete reports and analyse trends when looking at data.
Qualifications required
You will be educated to a minimum of a degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant work experience.
