WMG is a world leading research and education group, transforming organisations and driving innovation through a unique combination of collaborative research and development, and pioneering education programmes.
The successful candidate will work alongside marketing officers to help deliver marketing activities that support WMG’s research teams and researchers across a variety of fields. This will include showcasing the impact of innovation and collaborative research.
A key part of the role will involve working with WMG research groups and key stakeholders to produce engaging case studies, as well as supporting the University of Warwick press team to share our success stories with regional and national news outlets.
The role will involve a range of activities, including supporting the development of marketing plans for the WMG Group, updating and creating content for the webpages, developing marketing materials, producing social media content including photography and videography, as well as assisting with the coordination of regional events.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a range of activities, including the development of marketing campaigns for the WMG Research Group, development of the Research webpages, content development, creation of marketing materials and social media content, as well as supporting a programme of regional events.
You’ll be comfortable working with people across a variety of roles and at all levels, managing multiple events to tight deadlines, and ensuring that stakeholder objectives are being met.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work with ease with colleagues at all administrative and academic levels, and with business stakeholders are a must. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the manufacturing sector.
