The UCL Division of Psychiatry, located within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, is a world-renowned centre of excellence in mental health research. About the role
Applications are invited for a Research Fellow in the Mental Health Policy Research Unit.
You will contribute to conducting high-quality mental health research for the MHPRU to meet the needs of national policy makers in DHSC and associated organisations, and to producing high quality scientific papers and widely disseminating findings from work conducted in the MHPRU in forms accessible to a wide range of stakeholders. In addition, you will contribute to the efficient administration and organization of the MHPRU, including supporting the coordination and administration of the MHPRU’s service user and carer working group (the LEWG).
About you
You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, or equivalent knowledge of research methods and experience of conducting research.
Experience of conducting high quality academic research in a relevant area using quantitative methods is essential, as is experience of conducting systematic literature reviews. A good understanding of the experience of mental health service users and staff, and of how mental health services are organised and function and experience of developing and maintaining successful working relationships is also a requirement.
