The Head of OSO Media Production and Innovation plays a pivotal role in supporting the growth ambitions of OSO, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative educational media content. Reporting to the Director, Online Learning Innovation and Impact, this role is critical in maintaining OSO’s reputation as a leading educational technology partner within the University and beyond. The successful candidate will drive the strategic planning, operational management and innovation of media production, driving excellence in online learning experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media production strategy aligned with OSO's growth objectives and the University’s digital learning vision.
- Build, manage and develop a high-performing team of video producers, editors and motion designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the creation of engaging multimedia content, including videos, animations and interactive media, ensuring pedagogical effectiveness and accessibility.
- Coordinate the simultaneous delivery of multiple media projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Contribute to University-wide media production policies and influence strategic decisions shaping OSO’s long-term vision.
You will have a proven track record in strategic media production leadership within an educational or large-scale organisation, with extensive experience managing diverse teams and overseeing large-scale multimedia content development. You must possess deep expertise in media production technologies, pedagogical principles and innovative techniques, alongside strong financial management skills, including budget oversight and resource optimisation. Additionally, you should have the ability to influence University-wide policies and media strategies, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
