The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Learning, Teaching & Scholarship) to contribute to (and where appropriate to lead on) the planning, delivery and administration of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and assessment in Biomedical Science subjects on professional courses as required by the School and more widely within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS).
The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing is one of eight Schools within the College of MVLS at the University of Glasgow. The School is renowned for pioneering teaching methods and superb facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate study. It is one of the largest and most prestigious Undergraduate Medical Schools in Europe and is leading the UK with the most important innovations in the teaching of medicine, a unique undergraduate curriculum that utilizes problem-based learning techniques.
We welcome applications from candidates who hold a Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 (PhD) or equivalent in a related discipline and/or teaching experience. (e.g. physiology, neurosciences, pharmacology).
