Are you passionate about social media and creating engaging content that connects with diverse audiences? De Montfort University (DMU) is looking for a Content Officer (Social) to play a key role in driving our brand awareness and student recruitment efforts through innovative digital content.
With a social-first focus, you’ll be responsible for developing, producing, and scheduling creative content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcasts. You’ll track performance, analyse trends, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure content aligns with the university’s strategic goals. If you thrive on creativity, data-driven insights, and audience engagement, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
You have hands-on experience in social media content creation, campaign management, and audience engagement. You’re a creative thinker with a keen eye for trends, analytics, and storytelling, capable of managing projects while delivering high-quality content. A strong understanding of paid, earned, and owned media and experience with social media advertising tools would be an advantage.
