The Analytics, Technology and Operation Department, established in 2024 within the Leeds University Business School, operates at the forefront of teaching and research in multiple disciplinary areas, ranging from: Decision Science to Operations and Supply Chain Management, from Digital transformation and innovation to Artificial intelligence applied to Business and Management, from Human judgement and Decision Making to Supply Chain Technologies and Analytics.

As an Associate Professor you will be joining the newly formed Analytics, Technology and Operations Department (ATOD) within Leeds University Business School. You will have the opportunity to be a member of the Research Centres operating within the ATOD Department — including the world-renown Centre for Decision Research — as well as other rich research communities in LUBS. You will carry out research, teaching and management within and contribute to academic leadership in the field of business with specific emphasis on the role of Decision Support tools, combining cutting-edge findings from Decision Sciences and Information Systems to secure a tangible and positive impact on a range of real-world decision-making problems in Business and Management.

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a very successful teaching and research team in our growing Business School here at the University of Leeds.

As a member of the ATOD Department you will deliver research-led teaching in a wide range of topics in Business and Management on our world-ranked UG and PG Programmes, including MSc in Business Analytics and Decision Science - ranked in the top 60 globally according to the 2025 QS Business Masters Rankings, MSc in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation, MSc in Global Supply Chain Management, and the highly sought-after, one-year intensive MBA programme, ranked 9th in the UK and 26th in Europe according to the 2025 QS Global MBA Rankings.
