Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a programmes and partnerships officer for the University’s 100% Online programmes, centrally managed through the Learning Partnerships Office (LPO). LPO manages partnerships, programmes and relationships with external partners, University Departments and Faculties/School and other stakeholders. LPO sits within Student Recruitment & Admissions.

The officer role will have responsibility for a variety of key administrative and quality processes which include the tracking of student progress from enrolment to graduation, fee sponsorship processes and data organisation. The role will also advise stakeholders (internal and external to the University) on processes and information that underpin the smooth running of the programmes and the partnerships. The flexible and complex nature of the student journey will require great attention to detail and vigilance in following the progress and tracking of each student outside of the traditional model of a cohort and academic year based intake. This role within the team will also have a particular emphasis on data organisation, processing and reporting associated with the online programmes.

You will ensure that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances. This is a busy and varied role which requires you to communicate persuasively and tactfully with internal and external stakeholders and to ensure compliance with necessary regulations/contracts and adherence to frequent milestones in the academic year for data organisation and reporting. You will bring to the role your skills and enthusiasm for working with numbers and data, including some elements of finance, your keen attention to detail and pride in the accuracy of your work.

You will:

  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • have excellent and accurate numerical skills, able to collate, manipulate and analyse data/numbers.
  • be able to assimilate complex and procedural information and guidelines, and provide accurate advice/report accordingly.
  • have excellent organisational skills, be able to work independently and within a team effectively.
  • have demonstrable high level experience of Excel.
  • be expected to learn new systems and procedures rapidly.
  • be required to adhere to tight deadlines, manage priorities and multi-task effectively.
  • ensure that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances

Experience of data presentation systems would be an advantage.
