About the role
The Humanities Division is seeking a full-time (or part-time, minimum 0.8 FTE) Project Support Coordinator to support major research projects and related activities in the Division.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team in the Humanities Division Office. The post-holder will be supporting a new 3-year AHRC funded research project in the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages (Italian) and a 5-year ERC Starting Grant in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain in-depth experience of research administration, and to be involved with researchers at the cutting edge of their fields of study.
About you
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of pro-activity, flexibility, and self-motivation and be able to trouble-shoot problems. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of research in the humanities, combined with the ability to develop and continually improve processes and a capacity to prioritise varied, complex and competing demands in a busy working environment.
