About the role
Oxford Thermofluids Institute seeking Research Assistant for the design and simulation of activities pertaining to heat exchangers and acoustic noise suppression in vehicles.
This role involves significant computer-based design and simulation, as such the successful candidate will be an expert in in the use of CAD programs (i.e., SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD), and computational fluid dynamics/aero acoustics (FLUENT, COMSOL, OPENFOAM). Previous experience in low-speed acoustics is considered a plus.
About you
The successful candidate will be the holder of a relevant PhD/DPhil in Engineering with a focus on Acoustic simulation and experimentation, or nearly complete with their doctoral program.
