The University of Lincoln are seeking a Deputy Head of School with proven experience of academic leadership in higher education. You will work collaboratively with our other Deputies to contribute to the vision and strategy for the School of Health and Care Science to deliver on the Universities strategic plan and the ambition to be a top 40 university. You will have responsibility for ensuring the ongoing innovative development and the quality of our provision and ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and retaining it’s excellent credentials. Engagement with external stakeholders and partners will be essential and a sound understanding of regional and national agendas cross the health and care sector are important. You will also work across the school portfolio areas ensuring effective oversight of quality, teaching and learning, interprofessional education and other cross school activities according to experience and business need.
The quality of teaching and learning, and an excellent student experience are vital to us. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is a strong educationalist, a creative thinker, and a collaborator. A track record of pedagogic achievements that have a demonstrable impact on student experience and workforce development. You will be able to facilitate and support our staff to challenge their thinking and to innovate. Adaptability and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
