About us:
The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is a Faculty of King's College London and the largest academic community in Europe devoted to the study and prevention of mental illness and brain disease.
The School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS) is one of three schools under the IoPPN, comprised of the four departments of Psychology: Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry; Health Service & Population Research; and Biostatistics & Health Informatics. With over 100 Principal Investigators, our research spans development from childhood to old age, encompassing basic research through to the development and implementation of treatments, services and policy.
About the role:
Are you a proactive, highly organised professional looking to make a real impact in a world-leading institution? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London. The role is based within the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS).
This role is at the heart of our school’s operations, supporting key areas including space management, education administration, and people-focused initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the Faculty, playing a pivotal role in optimising resources, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and driving process improvements.
We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. You should be confident working independently, building relationships across departments, and taking ownership of key operational processes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience in business operations within a large and complex Faculty, making it ideal for those looking to develop their career in higher education administration.
This fully on-campus role requires presence across Denmark Hill and Guy's campuses.
