Warwick Business School (WBS) is a world-class business school at the heart of an outstanding university. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Director to join our Executive Education team.
This position gives you the opportunity to shape and grow the operations and delivery of the fast growing highly ranked Executive Education unit.
You will be responsible for continually bringing in best practice and being up to date with innovative delivery formats.
In this role you will lead a team of dedicated operations and programme delivery staff that ensure the successful delivery of the whole portfolio; Open and Customised programmes.
You will be responsible for representing Executive Education across a wide stakeholder landscape inside WBS and the wider University.
Your work will directly influence the success of our delivery and operations excellence to produce outstanding customer satisfaction and optimum customer experience. About You
You bring significant commercial experience in a similar role and have a proven track record of providing high levels of customer service in a complex stakeholder and B2B environment.
You will be responsible for contributing to the strategy as well as implementing the operations and delivery elements of it.
You have strong communication and influencing skills as well as being fluent with financial forecasting and budgeting.
You have significant experience of line management, objective & direction setting as well as performance management.
In this role you will need to have a well-developed understanding of the contracting processes with clients and suppliers alike.
Experience in workforce planning and resource allocation is desired.
You demonstrate strong resilience, flexibility, and a proactive, growth mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
