Role Overview

This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals interested in a career in higher education administration. The Enrolment Officer is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to students, acting as a single point of contact for all non-academic queries. The primary goal is to support students who have accepted their place at Regent College London, ensuring they complete all necessary steps to enrol on their programme efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate data recording to monitor student cases, progress, and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and update student information using MS Office, CRM, and internal student systems.
  • Support the face-to-face enrolment of international students, ensuring a welcoming experience while checking necessary documents and compliance with visa requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient processes to improve the student experience and provide proactive support.
  • Provide an effective and professional customer service experience, proactively supporting students through the pre-registration process and their academic journey.
  • Handle a wide range of enquiries, ensuring all interactions align with agreed organisational and departmental KPIs.
  • Accurately process enrolment forms and maintain up-to-date records in student information systems, ensuring relevant departments are informed of specific student needs.
  • Offer guidance on non-academic queries, including College policies, finance and funding, health and welfare, and liaise with the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Stay informed about developments in Regent College processes, practices, and policies.
  • Provide support across the Admissions department as needed.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide accurate and timely course and student information as required.
  • Attend team meetings, contributing to Quality Assurance reviews and audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Participate in College staff development, training schemes, and Personal Development Reviews.
  • Uphold the College's commitment to Equality and Diversity for staff and students.
  • Adhere to and implement Health and Safety policies.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience handling student queries and processing administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on accurate data entry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and student record management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in higher education enrolment or student support services.
  • Knowledge of UK higher education policies and student funding options.
  • Experience in data recording and reporting within an academic setting.
