About us
The Institute of Green Chemistry and Engineering of Nanjing University meets the important needs of China's green, low-carbon and sustainable development, focusing on the directions of (1) Clean Energy Conversion and Storage Technology, (2) Artificial Intelligence Enhanced Chemical Engineering Technology and (3) Green and Sustainable Chemical Engineering Technology. We carry out high-level and cutting-edge application fundamental and key technology research, aiming in the research and development of green catalysis and synthesis, clean energy storage and conversion materials and devices, and artificial intelligence assisted chemical engineering technologies. The institute has two national "double first-class" disciplines, "Chemistry" and "Chemical Engineering and Technology", and two first-class doctoral disciplines, which were selected as the first batch of national "double first-class" construction disciplines, and again in 2021. The Institute has built a number of research platforms, including the State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, the State Key Laboratory of Life Analytical Chemistry, the MOE Key Laboratory of Mesoscopic Chemistry, the MOE Key Laboratory of High-Performance Polymer Materials and Technology, and the Key Laboratory of Advanced Organic Materials of Jiangsu Province, as well as a number of university-local joint scientific and technological achievements transformation platforms. The Institute has undertaken or completed about 500 national, provincial and ministerial level and enterprise application projects, and has made a series of advanced research achievements in the fields of industrial energy conservation and emission reduction, micro-interface mass-transfer enhanced reaction technology, reaction tower separation technology, novel energy storage materials and secondary batteries, and has won national and provincial science and technology awards for many times.
Job description
The Institute of Green Chemistry and Engineering of Nanjing University plans to recruit scholar who aspires to have a career in the field of Chemical Engineering.
