The University is seeking to recruit a Research Contracts Associate to join its Research Contracts Team for a period of Maternity Cover.
You will be joining a supportive team environment in which you will provide contractual and legal advice to academic and professional service colleagues.
A member of the prestigious Russell Group, the Research Contracts Team deals with contracts that fund and facilitate the University’s research activities. Ensuring those contracts move forward efficiently whilst protecting the University’s interests is an essential part of the role, as is managing your own time and portfolio of work.
Forming part of the Directorate of Legal and Governance, you must also have an understanding of the legal issues which arise in the context of a contract, as well as being articulate, commercially aware and having a keen eye for detail.
You should have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.
This is a full-time temporary role to cover a period of maternity leave, expected to be from March 2025 to November 2025.
