We have an exciting opportunity for a Widening Participation Transitions Officer to work within the University.
The successful candidate will work with the WP&LLL team and relevant colleagues across the University of Glasgow, investigate, establish and implement provision for supporting students from Widening Participation backgrounds in their transition from the pre-entry stage to degree-level study, and improving student retention and success. Engage with existing students and staff in building mentoring, peer support and community building initiatives for students on degree course. Supporting the Head of WP&LLL, the Head of the Adult Learner Team (ALT), and the wider team in the delivery of WP&LLL activities to achieve University targets and performance indicators.
Full time (35 hours p/w) and Fixed term for up to 3 years .
