An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Doctoral Training Hub Coordinator to join the College of Science and Engineering.

ExaGEO is an exciting and forward-looking newly funded NERC DLA that innovates delivery by focusing on interdisciplinary research to train students for next-generation computer modelling. ExaGEO is a collaboration between the University of Glasgow, the University of Edinburgh, and Lancaster University, with a diverse team of academic staff across Geographical and Earth Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics. Social AI will train the next generation of experts in Artificial Social Intelligence; the AI domain aimed at endowing artificial agents with social intelligence, the ability to deal appropriately with users’ attitude intentions, feelings, personality, and expectations. The role includes responsibility for the delivery and enhancement of the overall student recruitment strategy, cohort development, organising innovative training programmes, budget management, support for obtaining additional external funding and management reporting to the Director(s) and funding bodies.

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and has funding available for up to 5 years in the first instance. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
