We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager: Curriculum Management System to join our team on a full time, fixed term basis, working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE

The Senior Project Manager’s role is to be responsible for planning, organising and directing the necessary resources to ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum management project. The postholder will ensure the effective deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, of resources and activities in order to define, refine, and deliver the Curriculum Management System (CMS).

You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the installation and ongoing management of the university’s CMS, ensuring the production of high quality data to meet the requirements of all internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will utilise Agile Prince 2 methodology, Agile Scrum, and Project roadmap to ensure IS teams have the correct focus and priorities, taking a Product Owner role. 

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as a Senior Project Manager: Curriculum Management System, you will need:

• Educated to HND or equivalent related experience
• Possess excellent knowledge of University validation and approval processes
• Previous experience of managing, implementing and monitoring project activity
• IT literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively, at all levels
• Experience of successfully engaging others and building positive working relationships with a diverse range of people, external partners and stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and skills
• Able to work independently
• Ability and preparedness to work flexibly

It would also be beneficial if you held: 

• Have experience of Prince 2 Agile and Agile Scrum methodology
• Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh – oral and written
