The Role

Are you a detail-oriented, driven professional with a passion for quality assurance? We’re looking for a Quality and Governance Manager to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across our academic programs. In this role, you’ll ensure that our quality assurance systems are fully implemented and consistently applied across all our programs, both internally and with our partners. You’ll also be instrumental in contributing to our OfS registration and preparing detailed reports that highlight our commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities within the scope of Quality and Compliance meet the highest standards of governance, policies, and regulations.
  • Play an active role in developing, reviewing, and updating William College’s quality assurance policies.
  • Ensure our policies are up-to-date and applied consistently across all our higher education offerings.
  • Collaborate with our partner organizations to ensure their standards and regulations align with ours.
  • Work closely with senior leadership in preparing the College for OfS registration.
  • Write high-quality, data-driven reports for both internal and external audiences.
  • Lead continuous quality enhancement initiatives and contribute to a cycle of improvement across the College.
  • Take charge of programme approval, accreditation, annual monitoring, and review processes.
  • Manage internal quality audits and liaise with external organizations regarding quality assurance.
  • Provide support to academic and governance boards, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Contribute to our inclusive learning environment by promoting diversity and equality across all processes and interactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working within the Quality Assurance department (or equivalent) in a Higher Education setting.
  • Strong ability to work with a wide range of people and engage effectively across teams.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaborate effortlessly across departments.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance processes and external requirements, including OfS and QAA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for producing reports that stand out.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.
