The Structural Studies Division has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional administrator to join a leading medical research Institute. We are seeking a highly organised Senior Administrator to provide proactive support to the Heads of Division in their execution of the leadership and management of the Division.
You will have primary responsibility for HR and financial management of the Division, and for decision-making associated with specific aspects of these and other administrative functions. You will be expected to manage and be responsible for all aspects of Divisional administration and support to best effect, paying due attention to corporate requirements, the need for efficiency and effectiveness, and the needs of the over 150 researchers within the Division.
Educated to degree level (or with equivalent relevant experience), you will have significant experience of working in complex and diverse administrative roles. Your experience will include the management and development of staff and you will ideally have experience of undertaking both HR and financial responsibilities. You will be highly organised, have sound problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with staff at all levels and work collaboratively.
Following completion of training, we can consider informal hybrid working arrangements, with up to 1 day working from home per week
The official title internally for this role is Divisional Administrator and this will be reflected in the contract of employment for the successful candidate.
