We are seeking to recruit a food and beverage assistant to work 37 hours per week in our customer facing branded coffee shop. The successful candidate will be typically working Monday – Friday, but this will also include occasional evening and weekend work.
The post holder will play a key role in enhancing the student experience at Birmingham Newman University and ensuring that the catering services maintain our very high standards. You will be an essential team member in providing an exceptional catering service to staff, students and external visitors. You will also support the coffee shop supervisor & catering team in their day-to-day duties, ensuring compliance with all food service, safety standards and operational controls. You will carry out general food preparation and service duties within Birmingham Newman University. A flexible approach to work and the ability to work well as part of a team are also essential.
