The post holder will support the activities of the Centre for Medical Image Computing by assisting the Centre Manager in all aspects of their role and by providing dedicated PA support to designated senior academic staff and their teams. This will include diary management, arranging meetings and minute taking, logistical support with events, dealing with correspondence, responsibility for filing and other administrative support, liaison with professional services in associated departments (in particular Computer Science and Medical Physics), institutes (e.g. Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Institute of Neurology), and faculties (e.g. Engineering Sciences, Brain Sciences, Medical Sciences).
The post is funded until 31st March 2027 in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be required to be on-site for 60% of their working hours. The salary range for the role is £35,930 - £41,255
Proven experience of providing effective PA support in a complex organisation, including the effective management of a complicated diary. Experience of providing support to several individuals and managing conflicting priorities or deadlines. Experience of servicing and taking notes of meetings, organising meetings and providing financial support including processing invoices and expenses using online systems Experience of organising and managing events and seminars. Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software to intermediate level in Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, Outlook, diary management software and the internet and online meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom). Good interpersonal skills The ability to answer enquiries and draft correspondence Proven consistent ability to meet tight individual and group deadlines and to manage one’s own workload through effective prioritising, time management and organisational skills. The ability to be discreet and maintain confidential ity when dealing with a variety of student and staff data
