We are currently advertising for a Research Assistant/Research Fellow in Statistics to join the Health Economic and Decision Science (HEDS) section, to provide support to SCHARR-Technology Assessment Group. The role will include the critical appraisal of the statistical methods used in pharmaceutical company submissions to the NICE for reimbursement of new interventions, leading or contributing to multidisciplinary project teams, development of evidence synthesis and causal inference methodologies, dissemination of findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences, and undertaking teaching and supervision.
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher with strong background in statistics/mathematics and an interest in Bayesian statistics, causal inference and health technology assessment.
