The role
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join the Medical Programme Professional Service Team.
The post holder will work closely with the Medical Programme and Partnership Manager and support them in delivering clear assessment support structures for the Graduate Medicine programme and preparing for future years and student intakes.
This role will focus on developing processes in relation to all aspects of student assessment, ensuring accurate records and data are managed and in line with University and GMC regulations. The postholder is expected to build a knowledge of the systems and processes involved in order to meet expectations when the programme commences.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong technical and IT skills with a focus on managing and reporting data. They should be a proactive individual, competent in the use of IT with an attitude open to change and working independently. The ability to work to a high level of accuracy is also essential.
The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability demonstrating adaptability and flexibility with regards to changing workloads and priorities. The postholder will have day to day line management responsibility for two staff members and is expected to demonstrate good leadership and practice within their role, in line with existing guidance and structures. Experience of managing a team would be desirable but not essential.
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and responsible person, with the ability to work both as an effective team member and independently.
