About Role
The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of the venues sales team and is overseeing pro-active and re-active sales, marketing and summer accommodation business.
This role is the sales and client management lead for QMUL Venues. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Services, you will have full autonomy of sales, account management and business development for the university events programme, including summer accommodation and market leading events venues.
The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, will develop a strong understanding of the product they are selling and will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure both the sales and operations teams work cohesively together.
The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, will set clear income targets for the team, set a marketing budget and oversee the ROI’s. Being a strategic thinker this role will lead on the expansion of the venues teams remit to grow the income for the wider service.
About You
We are looking for an individual Ideally educated to a degree level with experience in a similar role within the Higher Education Sector, you will have experience in managing the sales process in a multi-faceted environment. You will be customer focused and will put the client experience at the focus of your decision making.
