We are recruiting a Senior Study Coordinator to play a key role in research study support which underpins the NIHR BioResource's operational model. The successful candidate will work directly with the Research Studies Recall Manager and Principal Investigators and research teams for each study to ensure the recruitment and recall of volunteers to fulfil study recruitment requirements.

About the job:
The role of the Senior Study Coordinator is to manage the set-up, initiation, conduct, monitoring, and archiving of NIHR BioResource Stage 2 research studies. The post holder will manage a Study Coordinator and undertake responsibilities for successfully coordinating and delivering Stage 2 studies. The post holder will be responsible for confirming appropriate permissions are in place to commence the research study and ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in all research activity whilst working closely with the study Principal Investigator, other Senior Study Coordinators, Research Nurses, and the NIHR BioResource Managers and wider NIHR BioResource team.

This appointment is full-time, 37 hours per week; part-time to 80% will be considered. Work & life balance is important, and we are open to discussion on flexible working, including hybrid working.
The post is available on a fixed-term basis for 1 year or until the return of the postholder, whichever is sooner. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle. It was announced last year that NIHR BioResource will receive new funding over the next 5 years.
This appointment requires a Research Passport application.
