An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator within the Royal Veterinary College’s (RVC) Executive Support Team (EST).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to play a key role in delivering effective support for the RVC’s Principal & President, Deputy Principal and Vice Principals. This new role is crucial to maintaining the effective and professional operation of their offices. The post holder will work closely with the Principal’s Executive Officer and the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Principal and Vice Principals to achieve this. 

A key aspect of the role will be daily monitoring of diverse topic emails, received by the President & Principal, and actioning them as appropriate, working in liaison with the Principal’s Executive Officer. The role also involves monitoring and maintaining action trackers, diary administration and coordinating meetings and events, in liaison with the Principal’s Executive Officer and the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Principal and Vice Principals, in addition to a variety of other administrative tasks. The post holder will also provide occasional meeting support, including the collation of papers, minute-taking and action monitoring for various RVC project groups and committees.

Applicants must be a team player and have strong organisational skills, a keen attention to detail and demonstrate previous experience as a Senior Administrator or in a similar role. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential, to confidently and professionally liaise with individuals at all levels. A pro-active and flexible approach to work is also required.
