Our Physiotherapy team is growing. This is an exciting opportunity to join our sector-leading Physiotherapy education team. We are seeking to recruit an experienced cardio-respiratory physiotherapy clinician / educator, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to help deliver our Physiotherapy programme.
About the role - as Assistant Professor you will undertake teaching and personal tutor roles within an established programme of study. You will focus on the leadership, delivery and management of our cardio-respiratory core content, alongside contributions to other parts of the programme. You will hold module convenor roles and lead on curriculum development, enhancement, and quality assurance. You will plan and manage your teaching in line with our future-facing, case-based curriculum. You will ensure that your teaching and learning activities meet the learning outcomes of the programme and reflect contemporary practice and evidence. You will have substantial career development opportunities based around your teaching, leadership, scholarship, and research activities.

About you - you will have a rich and diverse clinical background in cardio-respiratory physiotherapy and have experience in facilitating the learning of others. This may be in a formal education setting, or supervising students and peers in clinical practice. You will be enthusiastic, creative, critical, and motivated to do your very best for our students. You will be ambitious and strategic in terms of future advancement of the speciality and the profession.

Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
