First established in 1971, the National Film and Television School (NFTS) has evolved to become a leading global institution, developing some of Britain and the world’s top creative talent in film, television and games. It is widely acknowledged to be the top school of its kind in the UK and one of the best internationally, being named as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s top international film schools for over a decade. The NFTS is a registered charity (313429).
We are currently recruiting for a well organised and proficient Clerk to the Board. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a forward thinking and successful Higher Education Institute. The successful applicant will support the Board and Committees to act efficiently and effectively in their governance of the School. The post would be suitable for an experienced Governance Clerk. Experience within an academic institution is essential.
There is no set pattern for the clerk’s work and therefore this role can be worked on a flexible basis. The total days per year are approximately 50 days, which includes meeting preparation, attendance at meetings and follow up as well as miscellaneous tasks. The Board and Committees meet on a quarterly basis (in person and virtual) and your attendance at these meetings is required.
