Senior International Manager (Strategic Market Development)

London South Bank University is excited to be recruiting for the post of Senior International Manager: Strategic Market Development within the Marketing, Recruitment, and Communications department.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive LSBU’s international student recruitment strategy by leading market growth initiatives and embedding commercially focused sales approaches across our recruitment teams. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of LSBU’s global agent network, ensuring high compliance and performance standards. They will also lead the identification and cultivation of strategic growth opportunities, including sponsorship providers and pathway progression partnerships.

About You:

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

• Extensive experience in international student recruitment, including agent and partnership management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic market growth initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in income generation and resource optimisation.
• Experience in managing recruitment agents, including selection, segmentation, conversion and performance monitoring, and compliance.
• Expertise in developing high-value relationships with key international stakeholders, including funding providers and pathway institutions.
• A data-driven approach to reviewing and optimising recruitment campaigns and agent performance.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-market initiatives.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate for LSBU’s global education offering.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset, capable of driving international student recruitment initiatives. Experience in developing pricing strategies, scholarships, and conversion activities, and stakeholder management is highly desirable.
