About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor in Medical Statistics to join our NIHR Research Support Service Hub within University of Leicester’s Department of Population Health Sciences. This Research Support Service (RSS) gives methodological and design advice to researchers across England applying to national funding programmes in health and social care research.
You will provide expert consultancy, guiding researchers in the design and refinement of competitive funding applications. From offering bespoke advice on research methods to reviewing funding proposals, you will play a pivotal role in fostering innovative and impactful studies. Opportunities also exist to collaborate on externally funded projects, leveraging your expertise to influence the development of international-strength research initiatives.
About you
You will hold a PhD or equivalent experience in medical statistics or a related field, with a strong track record in supporting health and social care research. Your skills will include:
