The full-time starting salary is normally £45,581.00 per annum, with progression available in post to £49,545.00 per annum.

We are seeking a Careers and Employability Faculty Manager with prior experience, to lead and manage our Business, Law and Social Sciences Careers+ team. You will play a critical role in managing and delivering our employability strategy and framework, working with academics to embed careers and employability, work-based learning and authentic assessment opportunities into the curriculum, and ensuring that our students are well-equipped for successful careers in a rapidly changing global economy. BCU has a diverse student population, and you will have experience of developing and delivering initiatives to improve positive graduate outcomes for all.
In this important role linked to our largest faculty, you will work closely with academic and Careers+ colleagues, employers and other stakeholders to co-create flexible and impactful employability services that support our students progression into successful careers. The institution has a key focus on employability and the newly launched 2030 strategy has a designated pillar, ‘Talent for Tomorrow’.
You will be joining a supportive and encouraging Careers+ management team and service, who have a real passion and desire to improve student outcomes and progression.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University.
