About the Role
The Department of Health Professions at Manchester Metropolitan University delivers Speech and Language Therapy programmes at undergraduate and pre-registration master's levels. We are seeking an experienced clinician who is looking to develop their skills in an academic setting, with the full support of our team of experienced staff.
This is an exciting two-year fixed-term opportunity, working two days per week. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with a current and/or previous background in linguistics.
The role involves:
You will be fully supported through internal mentorship and staff development to help you thrive in your role throughout the duration of your appointment.

About You
Candidates should hold a good first degree plus a master's degree or be actively working towards one.
Candidates with extensive clinical experience but without a master's degree will also be considered, provided they are willing to engage in Level 7 study to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
