The University of Manchester is seeking an innovative Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Precision Dosing to join the Division of Pharmacy and Optometry. This role is pivotal in advancing research in precision dosing and mechanistic and translational pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics. The successful candidate will lead an independent research programme, collaborate with the Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research (CAPKR), and engage in industrial collaborations. Additionally, they will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and student assessment in pharmacokinetics and related topics.
Key responsibilities include publishing peer-reviewed research, securing external research funding, supervising PhD students, and managing externally funded research projects. The candidate will also design and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops, provide academic guidance to students, and contribute to innovative teaching methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, effective communication, and excellent planning and organisational skills are essential.
