The University of Huddersfield is a thriving university with a modern campus, a diverse student body and a genuine commitment to providing students with an inspirational learning experience, underpinned by pioneering research and delivered by innovative and creative experts in their fields. The PVC for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Exchange will be the driving force behind the University’s research agenda, driving innovation, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge both within the academic community and externally to industrial partners and third sector organisations. You will provide visionary leadership with the intention of further enhancing the standing of the University both in the UK and internationally. Building on the existing reputation for excellence in research, your first-class leadership skills and capacity for fresh ideas will fuel new developments.

The ideal candidate will have a distinguished track record of research excellence and innovation, with experience in leading and managing research teams and projects. A strong history of securing external research funding is crucial, alongside a demonstrated ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and engage with external stakeholders.
