We are recruiting for a spirited National Programme Manager to lead NHS SHARE - the Scottish Health Research Register and Biobank, based within the University of Dundee and NHS Tayside. If you are passionate about health research in Scotland and looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced and fulfilling role, we want to hear from you. This is a fixed-term appointment until 31st March 2026 in the first instance with strong possibility of extension annually thereafter.
You will play a vital role to ensure the effective day-to-day management of this flagship project and raise SHARE’s profile as a primary resource to the research community in Scotland and beyond.
In its 12th year, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to join this unique project, funded by the Chief Scientist Office at the Scottish Government and asset of NHS Research Scotland. The aim of SHARE is to build a volunteer register of up to one million residents in Scotland (currently over 300,000) who have expressed an interest in assisting healthcare research.
The SHARE office is based in NHS Tayside at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School and is supported by the R&D offices in all 14 Health Boards.
