We are now looking for a Timetabling Officer to join our Carmarthen or Swansea campus on a part time Permanent basis working 15 hours per week. 

THE ROLE

The postholder will be required to create and disseminate timetabling information for specified disciplines areas. The role will be based in the centralised timetabling team which provides support to professional and academic staff, and is responsible for delivering consistently high quality timetables across the institution.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as a Timetabling Officer you will need:

  • Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent or demonstratable experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven experience of planning and running successful events
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven ability to apply attention to detail
  • Experience of data collection and analysis skills
  • IT literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and skills
  • Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team to coordinate events
  • Able to work as part of a team and in partnership with others

The following would be beneficial to your role:

  • Knowledge of timetabling systems gained in higher or further education sectors
  • Experience of academic timetabling software
  • Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh (oral and written)
