We are recruiting a Senior IT Cloud Lead who can work with key 3rd party vendors to ensure that the Bioresource IT infrastructure implements current best practice in cloud network architecture including site to site VPN's. You will need to be highly proactive, persuasive and enthusiastic as well as experienced in delivering enterprise infrastructure projects including migration of business-critical systems to succeed in this role.

About the job:
The Senior IT Cloud Lead plays a key role in designing, building, testing, documenting and maintaining NIHR BioResource cloud infrastructure which will deliver robust, secure and efficient IT operations to NIHR BioResource. Working alongside an AWS SME and technical partners they will be responsible for providing solutions in MS Azure and AWS.
The role holder will take responsibility for developing and establishing processes to maintain the NIHR Bioresource MS 365 tenancy and Azure subscriptions, ensuring the business has the functionality it requires whilst ensuring security principles are not compromised on a tenancy holding patient related data.
The role holder will also be required use their technical expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies to ensure any data stored or processed in MS cloud and AWS is done so in a robust, secure and cost-effective manner.

The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2029 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle.
