Trinity College invites applications for a full-time Career Development Fellowship in Law for a fixed-term period of three years from 1 October 2025. This Career Development Fellowship is intended to provide an outstanding early-career researcher with opportunities to devote a substantial proportion of time to research, and to develop skills in teaching and subject leadership.
The person appointed will deliver five (weighted) hours of teaching per week for undergraduate students at Trinity College, and will be expected to provide teaching for at least two, or possibly three of the following courses:
For Moderations (first year)
For the Final Honour School (third term of year 1 to end of year 3)
They will have some subject leadership responsibilities, including playing a significant role in the admissions process. They may also be asked to act as a graduate advisor to a small group of postgraduate students.
The Career Development Fellow will be expected to conduct independent research of a quality that would make them eligible for entry into the next Research Excellence Framework, or any system of assessing the quality of research in UK Higher Education institutions that replaces it.
Further particulars and details of how to apply are available via the ‘Apply’ button above.
Closing date for applications: 12 noon (UK time) on Monday 3rd March 2025
