About the Role
This role will provide administrative support to the newly formed TB Centre which is housed within the Centre for Immunobiology. The emphasis on the role will be on assisting the TB Centre Lead, supporting the research team within this area and liaising with TB patient and advocacy groups.
About You
We are looking for an individual with considerable experience in a similar administrative role in higher education or a similar broad public service with a good understanding of the research process, and experience of interacting with research study participants on a daily basis. Knowledge of good clinical practice is essential in this role.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Blizard Institute was established in 2005 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
