These posts offer an exciting opportunity for a healthcare practitioner to join the Clinical Skills Team in providing clinical skills teaching for Edinburgh medical students and supporting them transferring these skills into practice. There are five new posts, with two based in the Clinical Skills Centre in Chancellor’s Building and three in NHS Lothian hospitals. The post holders will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering and developing a programme of undergraduate clinical skills, acute care and simulation teaching, as well as being key to implementing a new programme of ward-based clinical skills teaching.
Two full-time post-holders will support the existing Clinical Skills team in delivering core undergraduate teaching and expanding the simulation programme within the Clinical Skills Centre in Chancellor's Building. Three full-time post-holders will deliver support for students transferring skills into practice in either Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Western General Hospital or St John's Hospital. Please indicate in your covering letter whether you are applying for one (i.e. Chancellor's or hospital-based) or for both posts.
