Following growth in our post-graduate Education courses, we are seeking an experienced academic to lead a new programme aimed at the international market. The key duties will be to manage the course and module portfolio, develop avenues of international student recruitment, and ensure an effective delivery of modules leading to high standards of student pass rates and progression to professional roles. As well as having subject matter expertise relevant to teaching on an MA in Education, knowledge and understanding of working with international students, including pastoral, academic support and compliance is essential. While the main remit of this role is the international programme you may be asked to teach across other Education programmes as part of the wider academic team.
As an SL, your remit includes upholding high standards of research-informed teaching, developing digitally enabled education, and enhancing employability and career progression for students. You will foster industry links, secure external funding, and enhance your research profile as a key contribution to REF.
