The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager of Student Support and Experience to join the University of Edinburgh, School of Economics on a fixed term (secondment cover) basis.
The role has responsibility for the provision of student support for taught students within the School of Economics, working with relevant line managers as appropriate and ensuring structures are in place to support staff and service delivery as a whole. The post-holder will work in partnership with academic leadership and central units to deliver a whole-University approach to student support and experience.
This post would suit a highly motivated and experienced manager who has a thorough knowledge and understanding of HE student support and welfare issues.
We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The School of Economics strives to be a diverse and inclusive community. We particularly welcome applications from candidates belonging to groups that have been traditionally under-represented.
The salary for this post is £40,247 to £47,874 per annum.
