About the job
The Business Manager will lead the Finance, Business Administration & HR, Marketing & Communications, and Procurement & Contracts teams, comprising a total of 12 people, with 4 team managers.
Reporting directly to the NIHR BioResource Director and serving as a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Business Manager will shape strategy, oversee operations, and provide leadership to ensure the BioResource achieves its ambitious goals.
The role is integral to advancing the BioResource's mission, enabling health research that improves lives and reduces health inequalities.

The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2029 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle.
